What a great kit to learn how to crochet a nice "succulent" that transforms into a coaster set. This kit is very detailed with two instruction books--one with beginning crochet instruction and another specific to the project itself. Everything you need to begin is included, even a QR code with instructions to guide you every step of the way.
So this set is really adorable. My crochet skills are not great at all but it still came out looking nice.
This set is adorable, and I really enjoy the coasters I made from it. I'm relatively new to crocheting, so I had some difficulty with working in a round. Even though the instructions, including the video, were helpful, I had to consult other sources to fully grasp how to make a round stitch. Making multiple coasters allowed me to practice, and I noticed a significant improvement in the last one compared to the first. I would recommend this set because it's cute, and it provides plenty of opportunities to practice various stitches.
This kit intrigued me when I saw it. Getting everything you needed to make a cute set of coasters that doubled as a decoration for a reasonable price? Sure, I’ll try it. Sure enough, when this came it was packaged well and other than scissors, you didn’t need to buy anything. The yarns are soft and packaged in their own bag to ensure that you don’t have a mess with other items pulling them out of the hanks. You get a case that feels like felt that contains 2 crochet hooks, 2 plastic needles, and a small quantity of stitch holders. There are two booklets also; one is the directions and the other actually walks you thru how to do the stitches. There is also a QR code for beginners to access tutorial videos. The hooks actually have wooden handles and don’t feel like they will break as soon as you start (like some kits). The directions seem to be clear enough for a beginner although they can also refer to the stitching guide or videos. The price is very good for a complete kit and seems to be a perfect project for a beginner. It is worth at least trying it if you want to get in to crochet.
I am so excited to start learning how to crochet, think this is a great set to help me start and if it turns out well, I will have a cute plant that doubles as a coaster holder. Great gift idea too
